Double Pocket Door Frame Kit for 2 × 6 Walls
With Soft Close & EZ Closer
Create a double pocket door opening with two frame kits, I-beam track, steel studs and solid wood headers. Included soft-close hardware slows the doors as they close, while EZ Closers let you release each door from its pocket with a simple push.
Door weight: 80–330 lb per door with the included soft-close hardware.
Do not use doors weighing less than 80 lb; lighter doors will not activate the soft-close mechanism. Although this is a 400 lb class Premium Series system, the included soft-close configuration has a 330 lb limit.

Controlled Closing
The 4-wheel soft-close hardware allows normal sliding, then gently draws the door through the final part of closing.
Easy Pocket Release
The EZ Closer absorbs impact and helps prevent slamming. A simple push releases the door from its pocket.
Concealed Door Guide
The thin steel guide mounts between the steel studs, behind the pocket door jambs. Two fixed nylon guides help keep the door aligned.
Before You Order
- Confirm your wall framing: this kit is designed for 2 × 6 walls.
- Check each door: confirm its width, height, thickness and weight before choosing your kit.
- Plan the opening: verify the required rough opening and pocket space using the installation instructions for your selected size.
The included hidden guide fits 1 3/8- and 1 3/4-inch doors. Minor thickness adjustments can be made by moving the guide up or down.
