Check Your Door Swing and Measurements

Inswing: The door opens into the building.

Outswing: The door opens toward the outside.
Measure side to side for threshold length. Measure the depth from indoors to outdoors for threshold width.

Choose a 5 5/8-inch-wide threshold in 36- or 72-inch lengths, with an oak-look composite cap and composite base. Finishes include mill aluminum and dark bronze.

For 4 9/16-inch thresholds: 2- or 3-inch extenders.

For 5 5/8-inch thresholds: 1 3/16-, 2-, 3-, 4 3/8-, or 6 3/8-inch extenders. These also fit our 5 5/8-inch outswing thresholds, providing a total width of up to 12 inches.
