They help:

Cover gaps between adjacent floors

Provide a clean base for door closures and sweeps

How to Choose the Right Threshold-   When selecting an Interior Threshold

Match Floor Heights  Choose a style that bridges the height difference between adjoining floors for a clean, level look.

Consider Width:    Wider Thresholds help blend larger changes or create a broader decorative seam.

Material  & Finish:   Since all options are Unfinished Solid hardwood, you can stain or paint them to perfectly match your interior aesthetic.

Installation  & Customizing Tips

STAIN and PAINT  BOTH SIDES of the Threshold before installation for easier finishing and cleaner edges once mounted.   ( You may have to touch up small areas )    Finishing Both Sides of the Threshold keeps the wood more stable from expansion and  contraction of the Wood.

Measure the doorway Width and Floor height Difference before choosing a thresholds style.

Cut to fit on-site-  most hardwood thresholds can be trimmed with common woodworking tools to the exact length you need.
