Door slab and a pull or privacy lock suited to the door. Choose soft close, soft open or EZ Closer as part of the selected kit when desired; these features are not assumed in a standard kit.

Build or finish on site

Correct rough opening and surrounding wall framing, drywall, pocket-door jambs and casing, paint or stain. Check the 2 × 4 or 2 × 6 wall, door thickness and door weight before choosing a kit.

For the linked Series 1 standard kit: overhead box track, two four-wheel hangers, door stop, two guides and wrench.

Purchase separately

A suitable door slab and pull, edge pull or lock. If the pocket is not already present, a frame kit may be the simpler path.

Build or verify on site

Stable pocket cavity and framing, enough clearance for the door and track, jambs and casing, and finish work. Confirm that the chosen hardware fits your door and pocket.

Track only: the selected track, without hangers. Series 1 hardware bag: two hangers with plates and screws, guides, bumper and wrench, without track.

Purchase separately

The missing matching component, if replacing the complete rolling system. Series 1 and Series 2 parts must match their designated track.

Measure first

Photograph the existing track cross-section, hangers and mounting plates; record track dimensions, door size and weight. Confirm service access before replacing a concealed track.

Choose a passage pull for a nonlocking door or a privacy lock where needed. A recessed pull lets a sliding door clear its pocket; an edge pull helps retrieve the door. Some HBP round pulls fit a standard 2 1/8-inch bore, while rectangular styles require different door prep.

Check whether the specific pull listing is sold individually or as a pair, then order enough for your door layout. Confirm the finish and door thickness before cutting or boring.

The linked standard Series 1 kit lists two tracks, four hangers, an adjustable floor guide, two flush cup pulls, screws and wrench.

Purchase separately

Two door slabs/panels. Optional bottom track with alignment rollers if selected as an add-on; additional pulls only if your design calls for them.

Build or finish on site

Supported overhead mounting, finished opening and trim; size the doors for the required overlap and check bottom clearance and guide placement.

The Series 1 kit supplies track, four-wheel hanger(s), top and bottom pivots, panel hinges, screws and wrench. The number of hangers and pivots depends on whether you select a two- or four-panel kit.

Two or four compatible door panels, plus knobs or pulls if wanted for the finished doors.

Build or finish on site

Opening support, finished floor and trim; check panel thickness, weight, swing direction and room for the folded stack.

Included when ordered separately

The track listing supplies track. Base Set A supplies the pivoting pair's hardware; Add-On Set B supplies a hanger and hinges for each added pair.

Purchase separately

Door panels, the needed track length, correct number of A and B sets, and optional pulls. A hardware set by itself is not a complete track system.

Build or finish on site

Supported opening, panel prep and trim. Determine whether all panels fold to one side or split at the center before counting sets.

Door slab and a suitable pull or handle; check whether your door will fully clear the opening.

Build or finish on site

Structural backing for the track, clearance past casing and baseboard, and a customer-built wood valance if you want to conceal the hardware. HBP does not include or sell the wood valance.

Choose door slabs/panels of the required size, thickness and weight. Plan pocket jambs or closet trim, casing, paint or stain, and the opening’s finished dimensions. For a privacy pocket door, check the lock's bore or mortise preparation before finishing the slab.

If flooring changes at the doorway, an interior threshold may provide the transition your project needs. Measure floor heights, desired profile and clearances. A threshold is an optional project item; it is not part of the door hardware kits above.
