4-Wheel Soft Close & Soft Open for Pocket Doors

Give your pocket doors a smooth, controlled finish when opening and closing. Hartford Building Products' 4-wheel ball-bearing soft close and soft open hardware helps prevent slamming at both ends of the door's travel.

How It Works

• Soft Close: The door slides normally, then the mechanism gently pulls it into the closed position against the jamb.
• Soft Open: The mechanism slows the door as it opens into the wall pocket, keeping it from slamming into the rear stud.

Check Your Door Before Ordering

• Door weight: 70 to 220 lbs.
• Door thickness: 1 3/8" or 1 3/4".
• Door width: 30" or wider for both single and double pocket door applications.
• Compatible systems: HBP Pocket Door Frame Kits, Series 1 Pocket Door Hardware Kits, and Series 1 Bypass Hardware Kits.

Important: Do not use on doors weighing less than 70 lbs. Lighter doors will not activate the soft close or soft open mechanism.

Track Fit & Installation

The track must match the required dimensions for this hardware to fit and operate correctly. Verify your track measurements before ordering or installing.

The same roller unit can function as either soft close or soft open, depending on its installation direction in the track.
