Single Pocket Door Frame Kit for 2 × 6 Walls with Either a Soft Close or Soft Open

Make room for more with a door that slides into the wall. This HBP frame kit combines galvanized steel studs, a solid wood header, and your choice of soft close or soft open hardware for your home renovation or building project.

WARNING:  For the Soft Close & Soft Open*** Do not use on Doors under 70 lbs-  * Lower Weight Will Not Actuate the Soft Close or Soft Open

Choose Soft Close or Soft Open

• Soft close: Gently pulls the door into its closed position against the jamb.
• Soft open: Slows the door as it opens to keep it from slamming into the stud inside the wall.

Each option uses 4-wheel ball bearing hardware. The kit includes one option: soft close or soft open. The same mechanism provides either function, depending on its direction in the track.

The steel bottom guide has two fixed nylon guides and mounts between the steel studs, behind the pocket door jambs. Guide options fit 1⅜-inch and 1¾-inch doors; moving the guide up or down allows minor door-thickness adjustments.
