This pocket door frame kit is made for use with standard 2 x 6 walls, giving your pocket door the structure and support it needs. The kit is available for three common door heights:
80 inches, 84 inches, and 96 inches
It is also designed to work with either 1 3/8-inch or 1 3/4-inch thick doors, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of interior door styles.

Pocket Door Frame Kit Instructions
The Soft Close and Soft Open features help create a smoother, quieter pocket door system. Please note that the Soft Close and Soft Open units are the same hardware installed in opposite directions in the track.

The included 4-wheel ball bearing Soft Close system allows the door to slide normally, then gently pulls it into the closed position against the jamb. This helps prevent hard stops and gives the door a more finished, high-end feel.
The 4-wheel ball bearing Soft Open system helps keep the door from slamming into the back stud inside the wall. This adds protection for the door, the frame, and the surrounding wall structure.

This frame kit has a 220 lb weight limit, making it suitable for many standard and heavier interior doors.
Hidden Bottom Pocket Door Guide Included
Each frame kit includes a Hidden Bottom Pocket Door Guide Kit. This guide fastens between the steel studs and behind the pocket door jambs, helping keep the door aligned while maintaining a clean, hidden look.
The guide is made from thin steel and includes two fixed nylon guides.
