Door Bottom Sweeps at Hartford Building Products

At Hartford Building Products, we offer a variety of door bottom sweeps designed to meet different doorway needs and applications.

1. Kerf-In Door Bottom Sweeps

• Designed specifically for wood doors

• Installs into the bottom of the door

• Made from flexible vinyl

• Features double kerfs for a secure fit

• Can be trimmed to size for a custom fit

2. Aluminum Door Bottom Sweep with Long Fingered Vinyl

• Standard length: 35 3/4" (can be trimmed to fit)

• Mounts to one side of the door (bottom edge)

• Adjustable up to 3/8"

• Provides a tight seal against:

  • Dust

  • Drafts

  • Moisture

• Designed to avoid interference with door jambs when properly trimmed

3. Automatic Door Bottom Sweep

Available in two mounting styles:

• Surface Mount – installs on the face of the door

• Mortise Mount – installs into the bottom of the door

Features:

• Reversible design (works for both right- and left-handed doors)

• Equipped with a hinge-side activation button

• When the door closes:

  • The button is pressed

  • The sweep automatically drops down

  • Seals the gap beneath the door
