Our Series 1 HBP Bypass Systems are designed for smooth, reliable performance in sliding door applications.

How Bypass Doors Work

Bypass doors typically consist of two doors that slide past each other within the same opening.

• Because fewer doors are used compared to bifold systems, each door is usually wider

• Example: A 6' wide opening would typically use two 36" doors

Sizing Considerations

When planning a bypass installation:

• The opening may need to be slightly undersized to allow proper door overlap

• Alternatively, you can use wider doors

• Example: For a 5' opening, you might use 30" or 32" doors

Installation Details

• Track and hardware require 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" of space above the door

• Adjustable rollers allow for fine-tuning door height
