Find the best type of door sweep for your application

Here at Hartford Building Products, we carry several different types of door bottom sweeps to cover your needs for different doorway situations.

The Door Bottom Sweeps with kerfs install in the Bottom of your Door and are designed for Wood Doors.  These  can be trimmed to Size, and they are made from Flexible vinyl and have Double Kerfs to install in the bottom of your Door.

The Aluminum Door Bottom Sweep with Long Fingered Vinyl  is  35  3/ 4” . You can trim this down so it does not interfere with your door jambs.  This Door Bottom Sweep is attached to one side of the Door at the Bottom.   It is adjustable about 3/8 of an inch.   This Sweep creates a strong seal against, dust, drafts and moisture.

The Automatic Door Bottom Sweep is available in the Surface Mount (installs onto the face of the door) and Mortise Mount (installs up into the bottom of the door).  The Surface Mount and Mortise Mount are reversible and will work for Right or Left-handed doors. They have a button that goes on the hinge-side of the door, and when the door closes, it pushes the button in and makes the door sweep drop down to close off the gap under the door.
