What are Bypass Doors?
Bypass door systems use two sliding doors the glide along two parallel tracks-- one positioned in from of the other-- so that the doors slide past each other instead of swing open. This Setup:
Saves space compared to traditional swinging doors
Provides easy access in tight areas
Works great for closets, pantries, laundry rooms, and other interior openings

Choosing the Right Bypass Hardware Kit - When Selecting a kit, Consider:
Door Weight & Thickness- make sure the kit's capacity matches your doors
Opening Width- allows for proper door panel overlap on the tracks
Soft Close/ Open features- preferred if quieter and smoother operation is desired
Installation Tips
Measure your opening before ordering-- a slight opening undersize allows for proper door overlap. ** Bypass Doors Should Overlap 1/ 2" to 1"
For better results on this system, cut each track down to 3 1/4", to allow removal and replacement of wheels. Also, if using Soft Close on Bypass Tracks, it will allow removal and replacement of Soft Close, as we do on our Pocket Door System.
