HBP Pocket Door Frame Kits - New Studs   Hartford Building Products now has solid steel studs made from galvanized steel . These studs do not rust. In addition, these studs are designed so that 1 3/4” thick doors have more room available to fit in a 2 x 4 kit. No adapters are needed to fir these 1 3/4” thick doors.   The steel studs are available for 80” (6/8) , 84” (7/0), and 96” (8/0) heights. They can be cut to any height between these standard heights.. There are two openings cut at the top of each stud....

New HBP Pocket Door Soft Close / Soft Open   Hartford Building Products has a new soft close for our pocket door frame kits, and our Series 1 track system. This is a much heavier duty soft close, having a 220 pound capacity, instead of the old 140 pound. A nice new feature is the metal connector for the sections, where they go together, instead the old plastic connector.   This soft close can replace the old ones, if needed, since they fit in the same track. It is just a much better system.

Purchasing parts in larger quantities has given us the opportunity to sell higher quality kits at lower prices. We are passing these cost savings on to our customers.
