A pocket door frame kit with extra steel studs will help give you extra stability for your walls.  Some examples where this can come in handy are if you have a shower on the other side of the pocket door and want help accommodating for the extra weight of the shower tiles, or if you are hanging a shelf on the wall with the pocket door and want to be safe with all of the weight on those shelves.

Pocket Doors are top mounted, and slide along a Header track that is mounted inside the wall. When you open the door, the door slides into the pocket in the wall.

Adding a Pocket door to any room, adds that special touch, something different.
